Does A Clitoral Orgasm Break The Hymen?
There is no way your hymen should break without penetration
Detailed Answer:
Hello, and I hope I can help you today.
First of all, I want to let you know that unless you inserted something inside your vagina, a flow of water or gentle touching on the outside of your vagina would not break your hymen. Even use of a tampon or insertion of something narrow inside are unlikely to rupture your hymen.
I appreciate your candor in sending the photos of your vaginal opening. It really is not possible to tell 100 percent from a picture but the appearance of your vaginal opening is consistent with an intact hymen.
In addition, most women experience at least some bleeding with injury to their hymen.
So I really do not think you ruptured your hymen during this experience.
I hope you find this information reassuring and that I was able to adequately answer your question today. If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Best wishes,
Dr. Brown
I was thinking I have injured my hymen because after having shower I started playing with it and my finger went deeper in it , so I was thinking it's a kind of penetration, isn't it?
You would have had bleeding if you injured your hymen
Detailed Answer:
Hello again, and I am sorry for the delayed reply.
As I said in my previous answer, even penetration with something small and narrow, like a finger or a tampon is usually inadequate to injure your hymen. Many virgins can use tampons successfully without breaking their hymen.
Furthermore, most women have at least some vaginal bleeding when their hymen breaks, as there is a lot of blood flow to the area.
So it is doubtful you injured your hymen if you had no bleeding or pain.
The only way to know for sure is by having a gynecologic examination, but again, it would be unusual to have ruptured your hymen without any symptoms.
I hope you find this additional information reassuring.
Again, let me know if you need anything further.
Take care,
Dr. Brown
The burning was likely due to the hot water that entered your vagina
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
You've most likely irritated your vaginal opening by getting water up inside during the time when you were running hot water on yourself or you could have pushed some inside with your finger. Plain water irritates the vagina, which is why douching is not recommended (washing out inside the vagina)
The burning sensation you experienced has nothing to do with the integrity of your hymen.
I hope this information reassures you.

Dr. Brown
I do not advise an examination is necessary
Detailed Answer:
In order to see if your hymen is intact the doctor would need to look carefully at your vaginal opening and then insert a finger to feel the hymen. The examination itself will be more invasive than your placing your own finger in the vagina. Regardless, you are a virgin until you have sexual intercourse. Many girls rupture their hymen in childhood playing sports and that does not make them less a virgin.
So again, I really think you ahou try not to worry anymore about your hymen. You would have had bleeding if any tearing occurred, and small narrow objects (like tampons or a finger) can fit through the opening in your hymen without rupturing it.
I hope I was able to finally ease your mind.
Sincerely,
Dr. Brown
