
Does A Lung Nodule Change Its Size?

Question: Is possible for lung nodule to go from 8.2 mm in three months to 6.6 mm.. Lessain not in parenchyma
But in fissure moe than likely lymph ode or trapped fluid. Was the answer my regular doctor gave me.A pulmonary. Doctor their is no difference in the two ct scans both at 7mm XXXXXXX no real good way to measure such a small different. In that I have a10 percent chance of cancer , because of smoking over 20 years and I am now 50 years of age.

U do not need to worry as the two scans are not showing too much of difference in the lung nodules.
But since you are having a smoking history i would suggest u do a CT scan of chest with contrast to see exact position of the lesion.
Once the exact position is noted i would suggest u do a CT guided biopsy from the lesion to rule out malignancy.
