Does A Mark On The Wrist Caused By Food Allergy?
Question: My daughter has allergies, and it's been very windy lately, but the photos attached are something we haven't seen before.
She has marks on her wrist. This is the third day since we noticed them. Not sure how long they've been there.
Is this excema? Her lips have occasionally become very dry as well. We're trying to determine if it's a food allergy. Could that cause her lips to be so inflamed, or could this be fungal, bacterial or viral?

Brief Answer:
Allergic reaction.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It's looking like an allergic reaction.
It's good that you are trying to find out the cause as the definitive treatment for allergy is to find out the cause and eliminate it.
For immediate relief you can apply cortisone cream twice daily for a week for the rash on hand and triamcinolone oral paste on lips twice daily for the same duration.
This should help her.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
