Question: sir on 25 feb i had jaundice i was admitted to hospital from there i was reffered to XXXXXXX wasi diagonised with hepatitis e my biliribin was 10.2 mgdl ,on april 16 my lft was done sgpt a phospate and sgot was normal but bilirubin was 2.5 my doctor said i have glibert syndrome but yesterday i gone through another test my bilirubin counted 1.46 dires 0.97 and indirect 0.49 widal test positive upto 1/320 was said i have typhoid i have sufferd with typhoid 4 times earlier ,,plz tell me is there any proble i am afraid about bile duct cancer?

You seem to be on recovery phase of acute hepatitis E.

None of your conditions like Acute Hepatitis E,Typhoid or XXXXXXX syndrome are associated with the risk of bile duct cancer.

Bile duct cancer usually arises in the setting of long standing stones,parasitic infections with liver flukes,inflammatory bowel disease etc.

Its usually seen in age groups 60-70's.
