Brief Answer:
MCV of 103 indicates macrocytosis- an increase in size of RBCs

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.

MCV is one of blood cell indices which is a measure of the size of all red blood cells in the body.
MCV is between 80-100 fL is healthy.

Increase in MCV indicates increase in size of red blood cells (RBC) and is called macrocytosis
Increase in MCV to 103 is not alarming and does not indicate any serious health issue.

It may be due to liver dysfunction and a couple of other conditions.

However, other blood parameters like hemoglobin, hematocrit, MCH, MCHC and RDW are required to correctly interpret high MCV values.

Kindly, post your complete blood count report so that I can analyze further.
Vitamin B12 and folic acid levels are normal so there is nothing to worry.

Thanks and take care
