Heavy gas - here you mean bloating I believe - does not cause heart attack. At time, symptoms of re flux, burning chest pain and symptoms of heart attack like chest pain are confusing and difficult to differentiate clinically.
It is wise to seek a clinical examination, basic screening tests like ECG before we come to any conclusion that chest pain is not due to heart ailments.

It is always good to undergo preventive health check up at regular intervals.
