Brief Answer:
What granulomatous disease did you have?

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

The progression of sarcoidosis to fibrosis is largely variable. This varies from one person to another. However, several years are required to ever get to this stage and many persons would eventually not get there and might die of other causes rather. However, there is no standard cure for sarcoidosis beside immune suppression with drugs such as steroids. If you had a granulomatous disease in the past, these findings might be those of a scarred tissue from that disease and not necessarily sarcoidosis. Can you you help with what granulomatous condition you have been treated for before?

I hope to hear from you before commenting further as this response might greatly be influenced by your response. Until next, stay well.
