Suggest Treatment For Calcified Granuloma In Brain
Hi, Good Morning. My father is 65 years old. He is a sugar patient. Last week he fainted and fell down for 3 times. We suggested a consultant and he said to take the MRI scan. The scan result identified that small calcified granuloma in the brain. Please let me know what is the treatment for calcified granuloma? Need any surgery for that?
A calcified granuloma in the brain is a small, benign lesion that occurs when the immune system attempts to isolate an infectious agent or foreign object. It is usually not a serious condition and does not require surgery in most cases.
In some cases, medication may be prescribed to treat any underlying infections or inflammation associated with the calcified granuloma. However, if the granuloma is causing symptoms such as seizures or increased pressure within the brain, surgery may be necessary to remove it. The appropriate treatment for your father's condition will depend on the severity of his symptoms .
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
