Does Contact Of Feces To The Urethral Opening Cause UTI?

Question: hello dr i asked you a question before and it help my ocd stop thank you for that i had another question similar to last just to stop my ocd for germs i was taking a shower and was cleaning my anus with bar of soap i saw feces on soap i touch it than touched my penis maybe getting feces on opening of penis any chance of uti?

Thanks for follow up Since you have washed your penis and glans thoroughly with water there is no possibility of getting UTI.

However you may take antibiotic like Norfloxacin twice daily as a prophylaxis .
