Does Dehydration Cause Back Pain?
Question: I have something going on with my bladder or my kidneys. Lower back pain, almost like menstrual cramps, not severe, just uncomfortable. (I am 59). My bladder feels full like I have to pee. I have been drinking more water the last few days as I don't drink much water and work long hard days, with very few bathroom breaks. Just wondering if I should try to flood my kidneys with water and cranberry juice. Maybe I have gotten dehydrated? I would say this started last week.
Brief Answer:
Could be due to Kidney stones or Infection.

HI
Thanks for posting your query.
Dehydration shall not cause back pains neither it makes you to pee . In my opinion you might be having either Urine Infection or Kidney stones. Drinking plenty of water and cranberry juice will help in both conditions, hence go ahead.
Also take Citrus fruits like Lemon, Oranges or Sweetlime .
If problem still perists you need to get Urine Routine and Ultrasound Abdomen pelvis scan done and revert back with reports.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.
Regards.
