Does Doppler Ultrasound Aggravate Tinnitus?

Question: I have High pitch tinnitus and hyperacusis with constant pressure in ear and head. My new symptom is occasional loud heart beat in left ear. My doctor recommended doppler ultrasound for carotid artery. Because ultrasound is high pitch can this further aggravate my tinnitus which is high pitch. I can barely cope with it as is.
Brief Answer:
no it won't
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I understand your concerns.
Ultrasound is a safe diagnostic procedure. Its waves are much beyond comprehension of human ear and you will not feel a thing. It will in no way aggravate your tinnitus.
If it gives some clue about the primary problem then we can treat it.
Hope this helps. I will be available for follow up.
