Does Double Marker Test Done During Pregnancy Detect Pre-birth Conditions Of The Fetus?
Question: I am 29 years old and 17 week pregnant. My double marker test results were normal, do I need to take further penta screen and quadruple marker tests
Brief Answer:
No need of further testing
Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
No dear no need to get any further tests since
- double marker is already normal
- young age
- no previous bad obstetric history (I hope).
Just get a level 2 scan between 18-20 weeks.
All the best.
