Does Endometrial Ablation Cause Abdominal Bloating?
Question: my doctor is wanting to do endometrial ablation. I have heard it causes you bloat and your belly to distend. I cannot handle this. is this true
Brief Answer:
Such symtpoms can appear indeed.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
As during the ablation the uterine is greatly irritated (or better wounded), bloating, nausea, distended abdomen are possible side effects. This does not happen every time, but such side effects can appear indeed.
This symptoms can be controlled with medicines, so you should be able to deal with them.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

I am not willing to not be able to button my size 0 jeans
Brief Answer:
There is only one way to perform this procedure.
Detailed Answer:
Not really. The procedure can be done only in one way. But the distention is usually not that intense. So there should not be a problem with your jeans size.
