Question: i have always been tired when i get 8 hours asleep 6 or even 12. i cant remember a time when i have woken up feeling like i got a good night sleep. i take 1 to 2 naps a day and wish i could just sleep all day. i tried drinking more caffeine, less and even cutting it out. my friend mentioned that i could have a thyroid problem. i am not pregnant i have pregnancy test once a month. i reallly need to start feeling well rested.

Your friend was right , the most common reason for easy fatigue is thyroid disorder, it is easily treatable so please get it checked.
The other most common reasons are Vit b12 and Vit d deficiency. Here is how you should go about it

1. Get a complete blood count to rule out anemia
2. Get thyroid function along with Vit b12 and vitamin d levels done
3. if you are over weight then losing weight can improve energy levels tremendously
4. Make sure you exercise At least once a day for 30 min.
