Does Having Costochondritis Cause Phelgm?
Question: I went to the Doctor last week and have costochondritis, now I have developed phlegm....is that part of it and also I do have COPD

Well looking into your problem I would like to tell you that costochondritis is unlikely to cause phlegm , it is the COPD which should be the likely culprit behind this. People suffering from COPD undergo acute exacerbation frequently or it can be some superimposed infection over it that could have led to the phlegm.
