Question: i have a consultation with a urologist this week it is my first time going i believe im not fertile what test will the dr perform will they look at my groin area

For infertility evaluation detail medical history, physical examination and some investigations are needed. It includes local examination(inspection and palpation) of private parts(scrotum,testicles, penis) also. However doctor will explain before examination.

In investigations semen analysis is the most important investigation. For this you will be provided sterile container for semen collection and you need to provide the same with masturbation.If needed ultrasound examination of local parts and blood samples for hormone may be advised.
