Does Intake Of Augmentin Help In Curing Thumping Noise In Ear?

It should resolve.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I have had this symptom, and yes, it can be annoying! The thumping noise is probably that you are hearing your own heart pumping. It's often from air and pressure problems with the ear and eustachian tube, and given that you are having an ear infection, you have reason for this. The ENT doctor advised Sedated to decongest the area (most likely the eustachian tube secretions). From my experience with patients, the bacterial ear infection itself may clear before the congestion completely resolves, as there can continue to be some fluid (without infection) afterwards. But it will eventually go away - maybe a few days to a couple weeks after the infection itself has cleared.
But it would be good to follow up with the ENT to check next week as planned. The pressure tests will help show how much congestion is present.
I hope this information helps and that you are feeling better soon!
