Does Intake Of Levofloxacin And Niftran Help In Treating UTI?
Question: My mother was diagnosed with urinary tract infection. First she was given niftrain then levoflox 750 but the infection has still not gone..please advise

As an Urologist, i can fully understand your concern.
It's difficult to understand,why Levofloxacin is given,if she took full course of Niftran.
Is this the first episode of UTI (urinary tract infection).
Did she have an urine culture tested, after completing the Niftran course.
What dose was the Niftran taken and for how many days ?.
What's the frequency of Levofloxacin taken ?
Kindly send reports of blood routine, RBS,creatinine and any other tests done.
If ultrasound scan was done, send that report also.
Advise your mother to drink 10-12 glasses fluids daily.

Doctor had prescribed niftrain course and advised for urine culture test after the course of niftrain.. in the urine culture test infection of e coli was still high as before.tgen he gave a course of levofloxacin 750 ..after taking levoflox infection is still therem i have attached the urine culture test report.
