Does Intake Of Metoclopramide Cause Gynescomastia?
Question: I have been taking metoclopramide along with domperidome for stomach motility. I developed a lump and tenderness under my right breast(I am a man). A mamigram and sonogram was diagnosed as Gynescomastia.

Hello.
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for the query.
I understand your concern.
Breast swelling and tenderness has been recorded as the rare side effect of Metoclopramide. Many studies have noted a positive correlation between Gynaecomastia and Metoclopramide.
I would suggest you to discuss these issues with your treating doctor and request for an alternate medicine.
Hope this helps.
