Does Intake Of Microgynon Help In Treating Irregular Menstruation?
Question: Hi. Been on microgynon 30 for 15 Yeats. Wanted a break for months as was going to try new pill. Had period as normal after stopping pill but now 12 days late for my period. I believe it can take time to regulate but I want to go back on my pill and am not sure if I can before my next period?

Hi. Last microgynon was on 23 march. Had period on 28 march for 4 days. Have taken nothing since. Was giving a month break before starting new pill.

You need to see an OB - GYN, and have an ultrasound scan of the uterus and ovaries.
IF the lining of the uterus is thick enough, then you need progesterone medications for 5 days to induce an artificial period.
Once you have that period, you can start Microgynon 30 on day 2 or day 3 of that period.
