Brief Answer:
Possible genital tunberculosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to HCM.

I have read your query and understand the concern.

Rifampicin and Isoniazid are mostly used together for tuberculosis especially if the prescription has been given for 6 months.

Since the lady has been treated for IVI treatment, your doctor might have suspected/diagnosed genital tuberculosis which is one of the common causes infertility because of tubal disease.

However, if you will provide me some tests reports (like blood works, ultrasound, tissue biopsy, mantoux test etc) since your doctor must have done various tests before IVI then I will be able to say exactly.

Regards,

Dr.Sandip Kabra
