Does Intermittent Cramping In The Lower Abdominal Area Suggest UTI?
Question: I am having intermittent cramping in my lower abdomen and lower back pain. Started couple days ago.
Had a polyp removed in 2012 and symptoms are similar except then I had slight bleeding and back pain seems to be worse. Polyp? UTI? Kidney?

Brief Answer:
Uti is the most probable reason.
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thank you for the query.
Your symptoms definitely point to urinary tract. It can be UTI. This is the most probable reason. Stone gives rather strong kidney pain located in the back.
I suggest you to have urine analysis and abdominal ultrasound done. Antibiotic might be necessary.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
