it requires general anashesia
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
I dont know what you mean by partial, but laparoscopic hysterectomy requires general anasthesia since it is procedure where abdominal cavity is entered and patient must sleep, there is no possiblity for regional or local anasthesia. Wish you good health. Regards

Brief Answer:
Several things
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
Recovery and wound healing is just slightly delayed in diabetics and it will take 3-4 weeks. Diabetes will lead to increased risk of wound infection. In you case, Cefazolin and metronidazole or clyndamicin should be given to prevent infection. This will give your surgeon 1 hour prior to procedure. There is no much you can do to prevent healing, but keeping wound clean, shower it and regulate your blood sugar. Wish you good health. Regards

Brief Answer:
hysterectomy recommended
Detailed Answer:
Hi and welcome.
In postemenopasual women it is always recommended to perform hysterectomy, especially now when it can be done by minimally invasive surgery.
DnC has high risk or recurence,it may cause unexpected bleeding and uterus infections, and at the end isnt significatnly less invasive comparing to lap hysterectomy. Diabetes has no significant role in both procedures. DnC can be done with no anashesia, but postoperative pain is same for both procedures.
