Brief Answer:
Complications explained.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
For upto 4 - 6 weeks following a vaginal hysterectomy, it is best to avoid straining / lifting heavy weights.
This is because you might loosen up the stitches, and can suffer from some complications.
These may include - spotting / vaginal bleeding, loosening of stitches leading to prolapse ( descent ) of the vagina etc.
One solitary incident wont do you any harm, so dont stress out.
Just avoid it, and take due precautions in future.
All the best
