Does Masturbation Lead To Erectile Dysfunction?
masturbation does not affect sex life, it is normal thing
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.
First of all understand facts about masturbation.
Masturbation is natural and normal thing. It is done by 95% of the males in the world, mostly before marriage as well as when wife is away, in menses or pregnant after marriage. It is not at all harmful. Frequency of masturbation done by an individual varies from once a day to once a week. It depends upon individual libido, wish and timing. It neither causes any weakness nor any problem in sexual activity.
So masturbating daily is not a problem at all.
You mentioned that you feel that penis is not standing.
In that regard I want to clarify about size.
Normal size of penis in flaccid state is 2 to 4 inches while in erect position 4 to 6 inches. It varies according to body structure and race. Size of penis does not matter much for satisfying partner.
Anterior 3 inches of female vaginal wall is sensitive to sexual stimuli. Only 3.5 inches of erect penis is sufficient to satisfy female.
When penis does not erect sufficiently to enter into vagina during sex for at least 6 months it is called erectile dysfunction.
During masturbation if you can reach orgasm(feeling of immense pleasure while ejaculation) then you are absolutely normal.
Let me know few things to help you further.
- Do you have experience of sex? If yes describe some details.
- Is there morning erection present?
- Do you have any habit of smoking or alcohol?
Hoping for response from you soon.
Regards,
Dr.Chintan Solanki.
reduce/stop alcohol intake

Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for follow up.
If you do not have any experience of sex it is not possible to diagnose erectile dysfunction until you have any urinary problem or some spinal injury.
If your morning erection occasionally present no need to worry at all.
Alcohol in long run can be responsible for erectile dysfunction. So better to stop it or reduce intake once or twice a month maximum.
Feel free to discuss further.
