Question: Is it normal for a child that has mononucleosis to have pain in their his jaws ?

Patients with Infectious mononucleosis usually present with fever, pharyngitis, lymphadenopathy, arthralgia, nausea, cough, ocular muscle pain, photophobia.
The pain in his jaws is most likely related to tonsillar enlargement and associated lymphadenopathy which is a common feature of I.M.
