Dear Ms
You should see a Paediatrician or ER at earliest. Fordable aerolizer contains formoterol fumarate which is B2 agonist and causes bronchodilatation. For a child of 50lbs, taking 5 capsules of Foradil is not life threatening due to adverse effects but requires assessment by ER/ Paediatrician to rule out any impaction of capsules in Oesophagus and possible adverse effects.
Majority of kids whom I see in my ER with such accidental ingestion of capsules have no issues.
Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.
