Does Probiotics Cause An Increase In Liver Enzyme Levels?

Question: Hi I am 48. I am 106 lbs and 5'3". I work out pretty hard 4-5 days a week. I was diagnosed with ibs in XXXXXXX and have been taking probiotics to combat this issue I just had blood work done and my liver enzymes were high 167 and 93. I don't drink and I eat healthy. Could the probiotics be causing this? I also take some vitamins, but the same ones I took in May when my enzymes were normal. I rarely take Tylenol too. I am super confused about what I am doing wrong
Brief Answer:
Need further tests
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your description.
Your liver enzymes are high and we need to find out the cause. I do not think they are due to the probiotics.
Do you consume alcohol? ( alcohol could be one of the causes of raised enzymes)
If yes then you need to stop/ cut down.
I would also suggest you get tests for hepatitis B and hepatitis c as well as both of these can cause raised liver enzymes.
Hope this helps
