Yes, there have been reports of association

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Anaemia has in fact been reported to be associated with the use of escitalopram and so I would not be surprised if at all you have been reported to be anaemic after the initiation of this particular medication.

Please speak to your care provider for further clarification on the same, and either the introduction of a supplement to help tackle to problem of anaemia or substitute escitalopram altogether. Although, the exact mechanism is unclear but a possibility could be a suppression of the bone marrow ma'am.

I hope you find my response helpful. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes ma'am.
