Question : Dear Sir,
I am a 30 year old male. My height is 5 feet 8 inches and weight is 68kg. I work at least 5 days a week. I have been suffering from problem of erectile dysfunction and pre-mature ejaculation from last 1 year.

I had consulted a urologist who had asked me to get some tests done like semen analysis and USG scrotum. Both the test results were normal. He had even physically inspected my genital and concluded that it was absolutely fine.

I was advised to take "Uphold" { Composition of tadafil 10 mg + dapoxetine 30 mg } tablet 2 hours prior to inter course. I had used this medication on few instances. I did get a good erection but still PME problem was not overcome. More over 2 hours after taking this tablet I used to feel uncomfortable. I was used to get vomiting sensation for at least 1 Hour. Then he asked me to take only tadafil 10mg. I did not get any visible side effect and the erection was good even after 2 days. But PME problem is still not solved. Now he is asking me apply "Prilox" cream to genital before inter course.

My Qt is how safe is "Prilox" to use ?

Is it ok to apply "Prilox" after taking Tadafil 10 mg ?

How frequently can "Prilox" can be used ?

P.S: I am on medication for higher levels pf uric acid ( Zyloric 100 mg ) and Rosuvus statin ( 10 mg ) for higher cholesterol.

Prilox can be use for local sensation for premature ejaculation. Since it is anesthetic agent it reduces the sensation and therefore helps in premature ejaculation. being a agent used for local application it is generally safe and do not have any prominent side effects.

It can be used for any number of times and you can use it as per your requirement.

Why does dapoxetine does not suit me although the Dr told it is safe ?

How frequently tadafil can be taken ?

Now that I am taking medicine for uric acid and high cholesterol, is it safe to take tadalafil and prilox ?

Not every medicine suits everyone and around 5-10% of patients do not tolerate dapoxetine.

Regarding Tadalafil it should not be taken more than once in 24 hours. Since the effect lasts for 24 hours to 48 hours it can be taken even on alternate days.

Yes the tadalafil and Prilox are safe along with cholesteol and uric acid medication.

Just a slight deviation from PME. I also suffer from Irritable Bowel Syndrome. Whenever I am in stress/tension I need to go to the wash room. I feel disgraced at myself over such incidents. More over I get irritating stomach cramps in the night.

Like when I leave for office in the morning, just before leaving the door I go to wah room multiple times. This is a regular phenomenon. Multiple times I has been in medication with Normaxin-RT to get relief particularly from stomach cramps in the night.

I was just wondering is there any common thread between IBS and PME ?

How to tackle both the problem without medication ?

Both the conditions are related by common factor called stress. There is ample evidence that people who get easy stress develop both the conditions.

Regarding management the first thing is to control stress. If you feel you do not want to take medication for same it will be better to see a psychiatrist in your city. I do not feel I can advice you about this with piece of available information although I must assure you that these can be managed to large extent with psychological approach.
