Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for the query.
Can you give me some more details about your pain?
1. Like the exact location of the pain? Since when it started? Is the pain radiating? Does the pain get worse with movement of the shoulders? etc
2. How is your diet and digestion?
3. Are you facing any bowel problems?
4. Do you have any other symptoms associated with the pain?
5. Do you have any medical disorders?
The answers to these question will help me understand your problems better
Awaiting your reply.

It feels like "deep indigestion"(want to burp)
When I draw shoulder blades together it aches
It has been there for about 4 days, but uncomfortable feeling for a week
I have no other symptoms or medical disorders and diet is good
A hot spot just under shoulder blade when is massaged.

Hi again,
Thanks for the information XXXXXXX
There are 2 things I want to rule out.
First I would like to rule out any gall bladder disease with an ultrasound.
If normal, then a local examination of the pain site should be done to rule out muscular problems. If that is the case, then muscle relaxants and pain killers should help with the pain.
Meanwhile you can apply hot fomentation at the pain site. Don't try to massage it on your own before a doctor has seen you.
Try some simple exercises/physiotherapy at your neck and shoulder area.
Start antacids before meals and keep it light, bland and non spicy/oily.
If no improvements see a doctor .
