Auscultation, ECG and Echocardiogram, thyroid

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query.
I have gone through your concern and understand your query.

What you are having now is called Palpitation.

It may be due to either anxiety, stress or underlying heart disease.

Strong emotions such as anxiety, fear, or stress is the most common cause of palpitation.

But it is better to rule out any heart disease or thyroid disease at this age and you have this for years.

I advise you go for physical examination by your Primary car physician.
If the auscultation and general examination shows any abnormalities, He will refer you for Electrocardiogram and Echocardiogram.

Stress test may be needed. It is better to check thyroid hormones also.

If it is due to stress or anxiety, life style changes and relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation will help.

If it is due to either heart disease or thyroid disorder, you have to take drugs accordingly.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
