Feeling Nausea, Abdominal Discomfort And Dizziness. Getting Cold, Sweating Hands And Feet. Worrisome
Question: Yesterday I woke up feeling nausea and abdominal discomfort, with some slight dizziness. This morning my hands and feet were sweating when I woke up, and same stomach issues. Both days I felt the need to vomit but had nothing in my stomach so just vomit saliva/mucus. Alot of stomach gurgling and although discomfort is not constant it does reoccur throughout the day. I also have loss of appetite, and when I do eat I do not enjoy it. I had pizza that I normally love and had to force myself to eat it, then couldn't finish half what I would normally eat. I have no noticable loss of energy. Also the last 3 days I have been getting random cold chills and shivers followed by goosebumps. Chill/shiver lasts only few seconds, maybe 8 or 9 time during the day. 3 days ago I started a new, which coincides and my partner thinks could be anxiety, however I like my new job and don't feel stressed out emotionaly.
Hi
Thanks for the query
There are number of reasons for the problem you are having. the commonest of them are gastritis, cold exposure, generalized anxiety disorder, food poisoning, panic attack and gastroenteritis. In your case the problem seems to be more of gastritis causing reflux esophagitis. The recommendations are avoidance of spicy and fatty foods specially pizza. give your bowel a rest for 2 days. try to take only fluids. use of antacids and gastric motility enhancers like domeperidone is also recommended.
If you have further queries, feel free to ask. It will be my pleasure to help you

Taken the day off work today, but if anything it seems like the nausea builds more when I'm laying down. Possibly thats why I vomited in the morning? Is there any explaination of why this would be the case? Thank you for the assistance so far, will try some antacids and see if that helps. Also noticed my leg muscles cramping for no apparent reason this morning. I was on my feet for 8 hours yesterday but in my old job I was on my feet longer than that. Any chance this could be related? It may just have to do with correcting the balance of strength in my legs following my torn gastrocnemius a couple of months ago as I havn't had full work day since then, but my legs seem sorer than they would normally be, and is both legs not just injured one.
Hi
Thanks for the reply
I already stated that vomiting is due to the reflux esophagitis. which occurs more easily while lying down. while sitting or standing you will feel better but as you lie down you will start feeling nausea and subsequently vomiting. The problem with your feet seems to be of spasm and there seems to be no relation of it with your current condition.
Thanks
