Xanax contain alprazolam.
It is a benzodiazepin derivative used as cns depressant.
It is absorbed within 2 hr of administration. It is metabolised in liver and excreted in urine.
Its half life depends on dose, range from 6 to 23 hours.
So it can be detected in urine for 2 to 3 days depending on metabolism.
