Look, ggtp means gamma glutamyl transpeptidase. It is an enzyme secreted by many organs, but most importantly seen in liver and biliary system.

If, other tests of liver profile that means AST, ALT, ALP are within normal limit, then this isolated increase in ggtp has very low significance.

Basically, isolated increase of ggtp is indicative of hepatocellular injury. Most importantly, it indicates alcohol induced changes in liver.

So, you have to avoid alcohol. If that does not improve the condition, then a liver protecting agent like sorbitol should be considered. An ultrasound of whole abdomen should also be considered to rule out any abnormality.

Lastly, consult with your treating doctor for a clinical correlation.
