Gall Stones Found In Abdominal Ultrasound, Gas Problem. What Questions Should Be Asked To The Doctor?
Question: During an abdominal ultrasound, 2 non-mobile adherent gallstones - or polyps - measuring 6mm - were found. I have experienced no pain, but I do seem to have lots of gas. My primary physician has scheduled an visit with GI doctor.
What can I expect at this visit? What questions should I ask the 'gastro' doctor?
Please aswer ASAP. My appointment is tomorrow!
Thank you, XXXXXXX

Hi
Thanks for posting your query
The ultrasound should be conclusive of either stones or polyps
Your symptoms of dyspepsia could be because of Gall Bladder disease
You may expect a surgical treatment
You should ask your Gastrentrologist about the following :
1] Medical management of the condition
2] Dietry restrictions
3] Further course of management
4] If Surgical - Open or Laparoscopic
Hope this helps
Am available for followup queries
Wishing you good health
