Getting Strange Taste, Itching And Tingling Sensation In Mouth After Kissing. Concerned For STD

Question: hi,
Every time after kissing my partner I feel tingling in my mouth, itching and strange taste (bitter taste). I went for sexual transmitted diseases test but have not got any results as yet. Is it possible that he has used any kind of drugs and then kissed me, or I could have some kid of disease which I could catch from him.

Hello,
Welcome to XXXXXXX
Thank you for your query.
Few aspects should be considered about the problem.
An allergic or chemical reaction from your partner’s saliva may cause this.
Saliva is composed of many constituents.
Your suspicion about the drug should be considered also.
Some drugs are secreted through saliva after absorption from the gut.
You can ask him about this.
In my opinion, this is not a sexually transmitted disease because it occurs only during the kissing and not all the time.
Therefore, you need not be concerned about the problem.
I think I have been of some help to you.
Please write back if you have any doubt.
Take care.
