                                            disturbance in heart relaxation
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Mid pre-cordial repolarization disturbance is an electrical abnormality of the heart found on EKG.
Mid means in the middle - On an EKG, it means the middle chest leads i.e. V3 and V4 chest leads. In these leads, the precordial repolarization disturbance was seen. Repolarization is the resting phase of the heart.
As you know, the heart contracts and relaxes regularly. The relaxation phase is the repolarization phase.
Your heart has a disturbance while relaxing. Probably, it is taking more time to relax. This is expected at your age.
In the absence of any other cardiac abnormality, this can be taken as normal.
Please relax, and you need not do anything about this EKG finding.
Hope you are on medications for the elevated blood pressure and the cholesterol.
Let me know if you need clarifications.
Regards,
