Got Operated For Colon Cancer And Had Partial Liver Removed. Had CT Scan. Findings?
Question: Dr. I have been operated for colon cancer (had about 12 inches removed) just over 3 yrs ago and then a year and a half later had 60% of my liver removed. Monday's PET/CT Scan says in part.' There is a mild thicking of the urinary bladder wall that is stable. Atheromatous changes of the aorta noted. Patient is status post partial hepatectomy. Cardiomegaly once again noted with tortuosity of the thoracic aorta.There are no areas of abnomal FDG metabolism that would suggest recurrent, residual or metastatic disease. CT findings are stable. Should I be happy, sad? XXXXXXX Braga Thank You
