Question: I was suffering from entric fever its been two months from cure, what food should i avoid (i am currently avoiding nonveg) and how long should i be abstaining from alchol. Since i do attend social gathering / party once a month.
Hi
As per your query, you had enteric fever.
You should take carbohydrates and proteins.
Fiber diet should not be taken as it may damage the intestinal lining.
You can take Rice,potatoes,Fruit custard,low fat milk,eggs.
Tea and coffee should be avoided.
Avoid Capsicum,turnip,raddish,Garlic ,onion.
Alchohol consumption once in a month is not a problem.
Please take alchohol in limited quantity, even once in a month.
Wish you good health
If you have any queries,i will clarify further
