Had Fibromyalgia And Compromised Immune System. Having Painful Dermal Lumps And Bone Swelling. Taking Ibuprofen. Suggest?

Question: my wife has had fibromyalgia and a compromised immune system for about 9 years now. Seen by a very competent specialist in Seattle, Dr XXXXXXX Brown.bone,
Over the past year, she has started to have sub-dermal lumps showing up. Not like lipomas, but hard as a rock. She has them bi-laterally, along, around knees, etc. Some are painful. She is also experiencing swelling of the bone itself, on her scalp, around her eye and behind her ears. Seems to be inflammatory, large doses of Ibuprofen help not mitigate the pain, but not completely. We've had her checked for arthritis, tried Enebral injections, did a calcium scan, etc. Nothing really stands out, and we're not sure which way to go next.
Thanks

Thanks for writing to us.
She is a known case of fibromyalgia with compromised immune system. Dermal and subcut lesions are common in immunocompromised patients. I would suggest to consult a dermatologist to to know the nature of the lesions. It may be due to infection or may be fibrous, vascular or neural tumour.
Biopsy of the lesion will tell us the exact diagnosis of the lesion. Thanks.
