Had Gallbladder Surgery. Have Had Test Done. Meaning?
Question: last week I had gallbladder surgery. Today when I went for my follow up the doctor showed me a report it read: Gallbladder with incident biliary intraepithelial neoplsia with low-grade and focal high grade dysplasi extending to Rokitansky Aschoff sinus.
Not evidence of invasive carcinoma
Cystic duct is not involved by dysplasia

The biopsy report is suggestive of malignant changes in the cells of gall bladder that have not penetrated the gall bladder wall. These changes would have progressed to gall bladder cancer if not removed timely.
There is also evidence of calculi and a long term inflammation in the gall bladder.
