Question: Hi. Brother had large meal 4 hours ago and gas had gaseous and watery diahrrhea ever since . Probably been to bathroom 10 times already

As per your query,your brother developed infection of the gut,followed by meal.
Usually,i give an antibiotic like Ofloxacin and ornidazole along with a Pre and Probiotic capsule.If there is no response to above antibiotic,Rifaximine will be given.I also prescribe oral rehydration solution sachets.
Please consult your doctor and proceed.If the fluid loss is more,he may need Intravenous fluid administration.
