Detailed Answer:
Hi,
XXXXXXX hemorrhoids present with painless rectal bleeding. A co-existing infection can be responsible for the other symptoms - fever, nausea and vomiting.
I am sure the local GP would have planned appropriate treatment for XXXXXXX hemorrhoid or would have referred to the right specialist (proctologist).
If she continues to have fever, nausea and vomiting, she will need a close watch. Investigation to rule out common enteric bacterial infection such as typhoid needs to be undertaken if symptoms do not improve on its own (by 5 to 7 days).
Hope this helps. You are free to write back if you wish to discuss further.
