Question : Hi there,
I did have protected sex with someone who i know very little of. I want to be sure that i am safe and free of AIDS.
1. How loong do i wait to get the HIV test done (from the time of the sex) ?
2. How much do these test cost ?

Hi,

Good to hear that you had protected sex which is a practice of safe sex.

1. You need to wait a minimum of 21 days from the day of sexual intercourse to get yourself tested for HIV. You can get a DNA P24 antigen test done.

2. The test should not cost you more than a thousand rupees.
