Have Anxiety, ECG Shows Sinus Tachycardia. What Do You Suggest?
Thanks for posting your query.
The ECG findings are absolutely normal and it is not suggestive of any heart disease.
All your symptoms are suggestive of anxiety neurosis. You require psychological counseling and anti anxiety medicines which you have already started with.
In addition to these medicines, here are some of the other treatment options which you can follow:
1) When you have such symptoms, breathe slowly through the nose and talk to your family and friends.
2) Do not take caffeine of alcohol at night just before going to bed.
3) Indulge in yoga and meditation to calm your mind.
4) You can also indulge in progressive muscle relaxation which is useful in anxiety by alternately tensing and relaxing the muscles.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

It will be great if you can attach a scanned copy of the ECG with this query so that I can help you better.
However, ECG is not a great test to assess the functioning of the heart. An echocardiography is a much better and refined test to know both the structure and functions of the heart.
It will be great if you can get the same done as it'll reassure me further that everything is fine. Meanwhile, please send across the ECG.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
Thanks for writing back.
Please scan your ECG and send the scan at YYYY@YYYY with sub: “ATTN Dr Jasvinder singh” so that I can have a look at your ECG and it will help me in understanding your condition better. You can attach the scanned ECG with this query also.
Instead you can upload the same scanned copy with this query, you have an option to upload reports by yourself on the right hand panel of this site, please utilize that.
I sincerely hope that helps.
Awaiting your reply.
Take care.
I have seen the ECG (Electrocardiography). There's a poor progression of the R waves in the ECG. This means the left ventricle is not contracting appropriately.
The left ventricle is the main chamber of the heart which supplies blood to the whole body.
An echocardiography becomes a must for looking at the structure and function of the heart.
It will tell us about the ejection fraction (contractility of the heart). I feel that you need to see a cardiologist for further assessment and management.
I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
