Anisocytosis means red blood cells of different size.Poikilocytosis means unusual variations in shape of red blood cells. These conditions are usually due to early iron, vitamin B12 or folate deficiency. Cells of normal size and hemoglobin content (colour) are termed as normocytic normochromic. Red blood cells varying in shape from elongated to oval and XXXXXXX in haemoglobin are called ovalocytes or elliptocytes. Ovalocytes themselves are harmless and more in number are found in different types of anaemias.Normal platlet count is between 150,000 to 450,000 counts less than 150,000 are termed as thrombocytopenia .Your hemoglobin is normal.
