Question: Hi, i have a rash around my scrotum area where my testicles sit next to the body. It is itchy most of the time. Can you provide any information on how to rectify this?

Thanks for your query.Based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have developed what is called as Ring Worm Infection (Jack Itch).

However final diagnosis can be confirmed only on clinical examination by a qualified Dermatologist.

In the meanwhile start taking anti fungal medication orally along with anti fungal topical jelly like Meconazole for local application over scrotum and groin.

Get prescription of these medicines from your family Physician.

Ensure to wash your inner wares in hot water mixed with antiseptic solution Dettol
.
Observe personal hygiene by washing the entire affected area with warm water twice daily.

It should heal up within a week.
