Brief Answer:
may be early arthritis

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXX

The symptoms you have in your lower back sounds like early arthritic changes (wear and tear) in lower part of your spine.

As far as you do not have pain or weakness or numbness in legs or below your waist, then you can treat it with some exercises (physiotherapy) and simple analgesia and hopefully they will settle down.

If no improvement then you can ask your GP to get you some diagnostic tests or refer you to spine specialist for further assessment.
