Have Lump On Inner Thigh. Burning And Numbness On Vagina And Leg. What Is Causing This?

Question: I have a lump on inside of upper inner thigh and it burns and runs up to vagina area and down leg to almost knee... burning and almost numbing feeling at times... the lump is under the skin and I cant see what the cause is ... any ideas ?

Hello,
There can be a couple of different possibilities here.If the lump is inside your vagina then it could probably be a cyst. But if this lump is on the thigh,it can be abscess,esp if there is pain,neurofibroma, lipoma etc. Its important that you undergo an examination so the lump can be diagnosed. Since there are several possibilities only a complete examination can differentiate between them. But if there is any nerve involvement you may be feeling the numbness. At this point i suggest that you see a doctor and get examined so that an abscess can be ruled out.Because that needs to be treated urgently.
